Test Policy

Test Policy defines organizational test approach and philosophy. It reflects the nature of the business, the associated risks of the products, and the business attitude regarding quality of deliverables. It defines the specific tests to be performed.

Test Strategy

Testing Strategy defines the testing framework, principles, standards, processes, and governance across all programs of work at an organization, in order to mitigate business and technical risk. Cloud Testing

Objective: Ensure that the applications hosted in various cloud platforms perform as intended on all defined parameters along with migrations from on-prem to cloud (or cross cloud)

Approach: Define Cloud test strategy, key objectives, entry exit criteria, Risk assessment and RACI. Integration test planning includes all inbound and outbound connections and their integration methods/ frequencies, functional test planning includes all functionality/ feature related tests, security test includes CRUD rules, access, and penetration tests. E2E user testing puts testers in end user shoes and uncover issues upfront.

Data & Visual Analytics Testing

Objective: Understand and analyze the huge volume of raw data as per the latest business trends.

Approach: Two types of data analysis and visualization testing approaches are followed, Descriptive Technique to represent analyzed data set summary and Inferential Techniques to use the analysis to predict characteristics of remaining data set.

Functional Testing

Approach: Localized, stubbed testing prior to System Integration Testing (SIT) or End to End (E2E) test phases and be able to identify and fix defects at the early stage in the product lifecycle Functional Testing, which is done either manually or via automation tools, has test preparation and test execution phases. Test preparation details the requirement analysis, test scenarios, test cases, test environment and test data readiness, whereas test execution entails the performance of these tests and the recording of defects in an appropriate tool. Functional test plan includes agreement to entry and exit criteria, the number of test cycles, the schedule and the tools to be used.
